Hey! Laura!（Video installation projection, window/2009）
刚到维尔纽斯的一星期，我的内心充满恐惧与不安。这儿的人主要讲立陶宛语和俄语，讲英语的很少，对于我这样一个初到的外国人，语言沟通成为障碍。陌生的字符，陌生的声音，陌生有大鼻子的脸，陌生整洁的街巷，浑身酒气的醉汉，见到我不是要钱就是要烟……而与这一切，我始终是个看客。有种强烈的、想要沟通的欲望！我渴望粉碎这种隔阂。
于是，就有了这件作品：我不断地，急切地，敲打劳拉家（我住的地方）的窗。将这个影像投影在原来的窗户上。砰-砰-砰—砰-砰……砰-砰-砰-砰-砰-砰……
During the first week I arrived in Vilnius, I was filled with uneven.Here, very few
people speak English, most of them speak Lithuanian and Russian, communication
has become a big problem for a foreigner like me. Unfamiliar marks, voices, faces
with big noses, tidy streets, as well as those drunken men, they asked me for money
and cigarettes …….to all of this I was simply a passerby.I have a strong desire for
communication! I desperately want to break this kind of isolation.
So I created this piece.I was knocking the window of Lora’s house (where I live)
desperately without any stop.I projected the image on the previous window. Ping –
ping-ping-ping-ping-ping……..
